Cricket Whanganui places a great emphasis on coaching and coach development. The more quality, qualified coaches that we have, the stronger the game will be in our region. In conjunction with Central Districts Cricket we offer a range of upskilling opportunities.Foundation coaching course (Kiwi Cricket level) this is a 2 hour course run twice a season. Advanced Foundation (junior hardball level, year 5/6/7/8) a 2 hour course run twice a
season. Development course Level 1, a two day course run in the Manawatu held in August/September. The development course is aimed at junior pathway level coaching.Performance Level 2 coaching course is run in conjunction with NZ cricket and is aimed at coaches involved at senior district association and secondary 1st 11 level.
